First edition, held in London, registers the first Brazilian participation on an unofficial basis, with only a few products on display, few exhibitors and emissaries.

Brazil officially and regularly participates in Universal Exhibitions, seeking to show the world its natural and industrial potential, in order to attract, in addition to immigrants, investors and foreign markets.

Dom Pedro II was a distinguished guest of the edition held in Philadelphia, USA, which celebrated 100 years of US independence. 

In 1922, the International Exhibition of the Centenary of the Independence of Brazil was held in Rio de Janeiro.

At the time of the Universal Exhibition in Osaka (Japan), Brazil had been out of the Universal Exhibition circuit for 12 years. 

With the theme of Better City – Better Life, the Universal Expo 2010, held in Shanghai (China) received a total audience of 73 million people.

Once again coordinated by Apex-Brasil, the Brazil Pavilion was one of the highlights of the Expo held in Milan.
